Tuomiokirkontori square
Located in the heart of the historic centre of Turku, Tuomiokirkontori square offers visitors a chance to admire the beauty of the oldest city in Finland. The historic atmosphere and the central location make the area one of the most amazing venues in Turku.
The Brahenpuisto park, located between the Cathedral and Uudenmaankatu, is also part of the Tuomionkirkontori venue. The Old Great Square is located right next to Tuomiokirkontori square, on the other side of Uudenmaankatu.
Tuomionkirkontori square has been used as a venue for events such as Valtakunnalliset kirkkopäivät (“the nationwide church days”), the Turku Acoustic music festival, the sports event Finland’s Gymnaestrada, Opiskelijoiden Suursitsit (“students’ grand sitz patrty) and the tourneys of the Medieval Market of Turku. The 2019 Down By The Laituri music festival will also be held in the Tuomionkirkontori area.

Transport links and parking: The venue is located in Turku city centre.
Practical considerations:
- The accommodation of the event to potential events at the Turku Cathedral must be negotiated with the Turku and Kaarina parish union
- No ground attachments may be used on the lawn of Brahenpuisto park as this could damage the pipes of the automatic irrigation system.
- The nature of the event must be appropriate for the location.
- Sun–Thu until 10 p.m., Fri–Sat until midnight.
- The Cathedral parish, the Old Great Square, Vähätori square (events) and the graveyard must be taken into consideration.
