The field of Mannerheiminpuisto park is located in the city, close to the busy city centre. The sheltered but central location is a good fit for the needs of many events.

Mannerheiminpuisto park is a park about the size of a city block located in Turku city centre next to Michael’s Church and Portsa’s blocks of wooden houses.

There is a gravel pitch reserved for play and exercise in the middle of the area. The pitch is surrounded by a park-like area. In the winter, the pitch is turned into an ice rink.

Mannerheiminpuisto park has hosted events such as Children’s traffic day and dog agility shows. Large tents have been erected in the area for awakening festivals. During Turku’s year as the European Capital of Culture 2011, the park also hosted an internationally significant Cirque Dracula circus performance.
