The Nordic Michelin Guide Ceremony 2023 was held for the first time in Finland and at Logomo in Turku on Monday, June 12.
Finland and Turku had the honor of hosting the Michelin star award ceremony for the first time on June 12, 2023.
The Turku Aperitivo week, which will take place during the Turku Food Weeks, will bring the aperitivo culture familiar from the Mediterranean countries to the shore of the River Aurajoki! During the week, numerous restaurants in Turku offer a drink and an antipasto-type appetiser for a fixed price of EUR 12.
Food weeks are a festive time for local restaurants and seasonal ingredients! Chef Petteri Luoto arrives at Turku at restaurant OOBU as part of Turku Food Weeks on 9–10 June 2023. Petteri Luoto's six course tasting menu with wine packages are served at the restaurant in three separate sittings.
Food Weeks provide the opportunity to learn traditional skills by experimenting at the chees workshop organised by the Rural Women's Advisory Organization of Southwest Finland. Come and make your own mozzarella cheese to take home with you and hear more about cheese making!
In the shades of the lime trees of the Cathedral Park Terrace, the Revelation Ceremony of the Nordic Michelin stars is broadcast live from Turku Logomo at 18–19 (6-7 p.m.). In addition to the broadcast, there will be a full programme on the terrace during the evening, such as quizzes and music.

At the Pharmacy Museum and Cafe Qwensel fan school, the students familiarise themselves with the secrets of using fans while also tasting handmade delicacies from beautiful three-tiered trays.
