In Turku, the property owner is responsible for arranging the transportation of waste. Each property owner must make an agreement with a waste transportation company. In the case of apartment buildings, terraced houses and other types of corporate housing, the housing company usually arranges this transportation. Those living in detached houses must take care of the arrangements for waste transportation themselves.
