Join the African Academic Night to be organized in Turku on 29 October. The aim of the event is to enable the interaction of African academics and scientists with Finnish education authorities, business and professional authorities and international researchers in Finland.
This survey is aimed at you if you have moved to Finland and the Turku region from another country to either study or work.

The closing event of the LUMODI project is the Futures Workshop: “Nature, well-being and integration“.

The Empower Wednesday welcomes all international talents wishing to know more about topics such as Finnish working culture, starting your own business, and tips for job-seeking. We also offer networking, peer support, and inspirational success stories.
Approximately 1,000 courses are published in the Finnishcourses.fi service every year. There are almost 50 education organisers involved who offer Finnish language courses that are open for everyone. The service has now been rebuilt.

The ideas of the Reformation came to revolutionise Central Europe in the early 1500s. These new teachings arrived first into Turku and spread from there to other parts of the country. Mikael Agricola, the Bishop of Turku, was the most prominent reformer in Finland. He was the father of written Finnish and made his life’s work in Turku.
