Take care of matters related to employment on the Job Market Finland website: Job Market Finland – E-services

Through the e-services, you can 

  • register as a jobseeker, allowing you to apply for unemployment benefits
  • monitor the status of your job search
  • agree on your employment plan and inform officials on its implementation
  • report any changes in your job search
  • apply for labour market training
  • apply for a start-up grant.

Telephone service

The telephone service of the Turku employment region serves all municipalities in the employment area. The telephone service is open:

  • Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri from 9:00  to 15:30
  • Tue from 9:00 to 13:30

Telephone service for private customers: +358 2 262 3880.

Telephone service for corporate clients: +358 2 262 3810.

When you call from a mobile phone, the call will be charged at the standard mobile rate. The price also applies to queuing. When you make a call using the fixed network, the cost will be the local network charge.

All phone calls are recorded to comply with regulatory requirements, regulatory inquiries or official documentation. The information can also be used to process feedback, official inquiries and dangerous incidents.

As a rule, local services are intended for residents of the municipality in question, or customers from the neighbouring municipalities.
You can contact your municipality in all matters related to employment, regardless of where your service point is located. If necessary, your municipality will help you forward.

Through the feedback service, you can give compliments, criticism, and development suggestions regarding employment services. Feedback will not be made public. It is not possible to handle official matters (e.g. cancelling booked appointments) or personal ongoing cases through the feedback channel. Do not include contact details or sensitive information in your feedback.
